Did you just get engaged? Have you started planning your 2018 wedding? Here I am, to help and, most of all, inspire you! To do so, I’ll start with the new trends. Following last year’s “Greenery”, Pantone has announced that “Color of the Year” 2018 will be 18-3838 Ultra Violet – a dramatically provocative tone of purple that communicates originality, resourcefulness and wishful thought – thus leading the way into the future (of Couples, that is!).
Complex and contemplative, Ultra Violet hints to the mysteries of the universe, the appeal of future events and discoveries beyond. Like limitless nighttime skies, it symbolizes possibilities and inspires the search of worlds beyond ours. Rich in thrilling hues and undertones, 18-3838 Ultra Violet represents experimentation and unconventionality, encourages individuals to imagine making their own mark in the world and stimulates creativity and imagination. This is why I suggest it to those brides who, not wanting a classic total white, prefer to be in the vanguard. Specifically, it’s a blue-based violet that’ll make your wedding special. How to match it? I always heed to my brides, to interpret their tastes and choices. By the way, this past September I organized a wedding on lake Como in which the chosen color was violet. So here I am, ready to personalize your ideas with some precious hints!
If you love this shade of color, as did my September couple, you can choose it as your underlying theme: from invitations to tableau de marriage, from place cards to flowers. I’ll study and customize color
combinations and flower choices, together we’ll make your day unique and unforgettable. Lavander, orchids, roses, bougainvillea are among the possibilities for your floral decorations. What about your bridesmaids’ gowns? Ultra violet is the perfect color that your best friends will love. As for the wedding cake, I suggest white frosting decked with ultra violet decorations or a single, violet garland. Let’s not forget the confetti table, with a display of classic, white confetti alongside blueberry scented confetti – WOW effect guaranteed! Last but not least, after dinner the lights will tune down to a shade of violet and give way to dancing.
To those who love violet, I’ve given some suggestions. All you must do now, is choose the shade of color that best represents you and contact me. Together, we’ll plan the wedding you’ve always dreamed of!
