A romantic couple, one of the most beautiful and important churches in Milan (second only to the Duomo), one of the most prestigious villas on Lake Como…and the perfect wedding comes to life. Roberta and Riccardo entrusted me to plan their most important day, and what my team and I managed to achieve went beyond all expectations.
Roberta and Riccardo are both from Lombardy but live in London, and they chose to live this important day in their homeland, so they had the honour of celebrating their wedding in the majestic Basilica di Sant’Ambrogio, which provided them with an unforgettable setting for their emotional “yes” moment. The best is yet to come: we managed to organise the reception at Villa Pizzo, a structure known for its elegant style of old times and its terrace overlooking the lake, where Roberta and Riccardo hosted their families and friends to celebrate together the beginning of this new magical journey. Being on Lake Como, it was almost a must for the photographer to take the bride for a boat ride before the ceremony, in order to take some wonderful photos.
In my work, it is essential to pay a lot of attention to my clients’ desires: I start from these, enriching everything with my expert touch, in order to make their dream come true.That is why I gave Roberta’s ideas a lot of space, so that she could make countless decorations designed by her, such as the colourful menus adorned with the initials of the bride and groom, and not only: the fans, handkerchiefs and even the hairpins she wore in her hair had their initials. In the evening, the bride, groom and guests hit the dance floor and danced until late, almost as if they never wanted the evening to end, and there were plenty of surprises: from the masks the guests could wear while dancing, to the fireworks over the lake that surprised the bride and groom at the wedding cake moment. Finally, for an all-Italian experience, the ApeRegina, a mobile pizzeria, was available to make pizzas on the spot for guests.
