2021 is turning out to be a year full of important events for Ciprian Tătărușanu, AC Milan’s second goalkeeper; shortly after winning the Scudetto, the time has come to celebrate an even more exciting event – his wedding to his long-time partner Antoaneta, mother of his three children.
Ciprian and Antoaneta reached out to me in 2020, when they chose to entrust me with the organisation of their dream wedding, initially set for the following year; however, the desire to celebrate such an important moment in complete tranquillity and without uncomfortable restrictions led the couple to postpone their wedding to 2022. The venue also changed: at first it had been decided that Villa la Cassinella, a famous luxury villa on Lake Como, would host the celebrations, but due to health restrictions, another structure had to be chosen. Thus, the couple chose Villa d’Este, an exclusive historic villa located in Cernobbio, also overlooking Lake Como. Although the entire planning had to be redone, it proved to be an impeccable choice. With its unmistakable elegance, Villa d’Este helped make the couple’s big day even more unique.
Surrounded by a truly emotional atmosphere and made even more enchanting by her splendid wedding dress from the Muse by Berta line – purchased at Le Spose di Milano – the radiant Antoaneta was accompanied by her children to the altar, where Ciprian was waiting for her in his elegant custom-made suit. The bride and groom exchanged vows under an arch of white and orange flowers, while behind them the famous Mosaic House shone, highlighted and not at all overshadowed by the carefully chosen flowers.
The ceremony was followed by an aperitif, at which Antoaneta wore her second dress of the day – a tailored gown created especially for her by Atelier Isabella Caposano. The aperitif was accompanied by the performance of a band, in particular the one of the English singer-saxophonist of Jamaican origin – whom the couple had not yet had the opportunity to meet: Antoaneta and Ciprian trusted me and, after the wedding, told me in delight and amazement that this was exactly what they wanted and that they could not have chosen better. Even the guests, won over by the band, insisted on staying a little longer in the company of their music, even though it was time for dinner!
After the aperitif, the celebrations moved to the Sala Colonne, whose refined atmosphere was further enhanced by the exquisite damask tablecloths and the carefully chosen palette for the flowers and furnishings. The dinner was also thoroughly enjoyed by the bride and groom and their guests, who had the opportunity to take some truly original photos during the evening: instead of setting up the usual photo booth, we chose to take advantage of the beauty of the panorama that Lake Como offers, to create a natural and breathtaking set: a circle of flowers that allowed a glimpse of the lake behind it provided the backdrop for evocative photos – and not only that; when the time came for the cutting of the wedding cake, the circle was once again used as a backdrop for the couple, allowing for photos that were nothing short of marvellous.
Meanwhile, a Romanian DJ set dragged all the guests onto the dance floor, providing an unforgettable conclusion to a perfect day.
